reel vs real

I'll admit, one of my guilty pleasures come summertime is locking myself up in my room, breaking out the caramel popcorn and losing myself in a good movie.

 .

There's nothing quite like dimming the lights and time traveling to a whole other era. Putting yourself in the protagonist's Louboutins, you lose yourself in the magic till reality is a distant blur.

 .

However, when the title credits roll, the flashbacks that stay are the clothes she wore. A far cry from the bright colours i'm used to and a sort of amalgamation of Monte Carlo and Chloe, this dress just screams paris in the springtime, non?  

{ dress : vintage, shoes : metro, bag : bought in spain, necklace : colaba, rings : gifts from mom, sunnies : prada minimal baroque }
